As promised, I will give you useful tips about tools and techniques that helped me in my personal and professional career. One such tool is Neuro-Linguistic Programming which I discovered 5 years ago. I attended both Certification levels and I am currently an NLP Practitioner and NLP Master Practitioner of NLP. NLP is an unconventional but advanced mind management methodology.  It is a set of highly effective, ethical persuasion tools that enable a person to achieve higher levels of personal and professional effectiveness.

NLP technology can powerfully boost employee productivity and company profit but can also help you in managing stress levels both at work and at your personal life. NLP can help in the following areas:

  • Management
  • Customer Service
  • Problem Solving
  • Goal Setting and Completion
  • Overcoming limitations
  • Communications
  • Conflict Management
  • Creating a Highly Functioning and Profitable Team
  • Enhancing Confidence
  • Interviewing Skills
  • Public Speaking
  • Personnel Management
  • Health Improvement
  • Sports Improvement
  • Sales

Many organizations around the world have used the technology of NLP to assist them to achieve their corporate objectives.  Those projects range from coaching individual executives for improved performance and communication to customer service initiatives involving every employee in the company.  NLP is useful in any situation in which two or more people must communicate in order to produce results.

NLP is short for neuro-linguistic programming which describes what happens in NLP training courses – you learn how you communicate through verbal and non-verbal language so that you can change, or re-programme your thinking for positive gain. You also get an understanding of the communication process between people, and some very practical models of motivation. It has been called the study of the art of subjective experience, keying into how a person is thinking at any moment, and responding according to what you are sensing.

NLP is about how you can communicate more effectively with yourself and others. You communicate more effectively with yourself by learning to think in more productive and effective ways. You communicate more effectively with others by understanding how others think and how you can influence how they think.

NLP involves having an attitude of determination, curiosity, a great sense of humour and a belief that anything is possible. It’s important that you realize that while you can’t always determine what happens in the world, you can determine how you think about it. It’s also essential to remind yourself that most of your limitations exist only in the mind.

NLP is a set of skills that enable us to think in more useful ways. We do this by realizing that our way of thinking about the world is just our way of thinking and we can change it. We do this by finding out how we represent our thoughts through the internal images we have or the way we talk to ourselves. Then by changing the way we represent things, we can change how we feel about them. For example, if you have a phobia of spiders and you learn to change how you think about them, you feel differently about them. There are certain tools and techniques that enable you to condition yourself behaviourally so that you think about things in the new way consistently.

NLP is also a set of communication skills that allows you to create connections with others, make them feel really good and influence and persuade people. When you learn how language and beliefs work, you can uncover powerful questions and language patterns that can help you to change beliefs through the way you use language.

NLP techniques can be extremely powerful. They are based on thought and behaviour patterns that successful people adopt most of the time and that most of us adopt some of the time. However, there is a big difference between reading about techniques and practising them, and we recommend that people follow a recognised course of instruction in NLP. If you want to try out some of the techniques, try them out on yourself first. If you experiment with other people, please make sure it is with their knowledge and consent.
